FRANCES ANNA THOMPSON the daughter of Anna and Barney Adams was born
November 29, 1888 and attended school in Winona and Mankato. Later her
address was 122 Lanipo Drive, Kailua, Lanika, Oahu, Hawaii. Sometimes
later it was changed in care of her daughter and all the families
recommend writing to JOYCE THOMPSON ALLEN, but she does not answer any
letters. She was born 8/10/1910 possibly in Winona.

After becoming Mrs. Allen she moved to Albert Lea. Sophie Giles wrote
from the Walker Methodist Home in Minneapolis that Joyce visited her
quite often. According to Mildred Templeton, Sophia's desk was willed
to Joyce and Frances her mother so the old German Bible with the family
records, which Sophia had kept so carefully may have gone with the
case. Harold and his son Dr. Robert Gerlicher had some of Sophia's
books but the Bible was not among them."
